Smooth
The ravor glides smoothly through long fur and the blade stays sharp for much longer than it is competitive brand. I have bought and used multiple dog razors over the past 15 years, but none have worked nearly as efficient as this one. Highly recommended. Great price and product.

Works great.
Def worth it. Works great on our Yorkiepoo. It seems just as noisy as our old one but the cutting on this one handled the pups hair much better.

Large dogs and dogs with soft hair (German Shepherd Mix and Terrier)
They did not get scolding hot. I have a German shepherd lab mix and these clippers were amazing. I was really worried it would not be able to cut through her course long fur but it cut through like butter. I did have to stop and oil them about three times to keep them from catching I highly suggest you buy the blade oil even though it comes with a mini one . It did catch and pulled some of her hairs the first time I used them. Easy to clean and easy to used. I also have a terrier mix where he has soft wavy hair really soft almost like baby hair and that is where I found the most issues, The soft fur kept getting caught but after slowing down slower then the speed I used with my German mix it cut very well. I am satisfied with this product. You have to go slow and be careful.

So far razor is up to the job. Have a pomeranian that likes to get stickies into her hair and the razor cuts flawlessly. Thanks.

I used the lever on the side of the clipper that functions as a guard for a close shave. First clipper I have bought but it works great. It did not become hot and held a charge. I would not say it is ;loud ; but not very quiet either. My dogs did not mind the noise. Shaved my two matted dogs easily without nicking them and I even had to use it without a plastic guard due to matting. I am very happy with this purchase. Perfect clippers for boy's haircuts and dog's grooming - worked super well for both and likely will not go back to groomer now that we have these.

Happy dog owner - beautifully trimmed puppy
If you are looking for a trimmer, this is a good choice. ~~~~~ UPDATE April 27, 2020 ~~~~~ I still use this same set of clippers. Following the directions included with the trimmer, I managed to give her a good enough haircut that we got stopped by almost everyone we met complimenting my dog on her cut and her cuteness! The clippers cut her fur nicely with no pulling. They still work great! The battery still charges and lasts through multiple “haircuts” for my dog. The noise level was low enough that my shy dog tolerated it. I did not realize how many years I had had the clippers. The rechargeable battery lasted long enough for a full trim and touch ups. I am impressed! I strongly recommend this set!. I have a chihuahua-poodle mix who looks like an unidentifiable, floating ball of fur when her hair grows out. I trimmed by border collie and they did not bog down like most clippers tend to do.
